U-16 Rainier Classic Cup
From Setback to Silverware: AC Pacifico's Rainer Classic Cup Triumph
The road to the Rainer Classic Cup wasn't perfect—but perhaps that's what made the victory so memorable.
Our tournament began with a heartbreaking 4-3 loss to Dragons FC. Despite the result, there were flashes of brilliance that reminded everyone what AC Pacifico was capable of. Anderson Vakanda produced a wonder goal that helped put us ahead 3-1 in the first half, but as the match wore on, we lost our grip on the game and watched the lead slip away. The defeat hurt, but it also ignited something within the squad. We left that field hungrier than ever.
Our response came in emphatic fashion against Chuckanut Tide. With every kink ironed out and every engine running at full throttle, AC Pacifico put together a dominant 8-0 performance. Anderson Vakanda and Sebastiao Gastao each recorded a hat trick, while Winner Nzemba added a brace to complete an unforgettable attacking display. Confidence had returned, and our football spoke for itself.
The semifinal against Granit FC proved to be the toughest test of the tournament. It was a physical, hard-fought battle where neither side was willing to surrender an inch. Every tackle, every interception, and every defensive stand mattered. As the match seemed destined for extra time, our star boy, our very own El Niño, Jenselh Valencia, stepped up. From nearly 45 yards out, he unleashed a thunderous strike that soared into the top-right corner in the dying seconds of the match. It was a goal worthy of the occasion and one that sent AC Pacifico into the final.
Waiting for us was a familiar opponent: Dragons FC. They had battled their way back to the championship match and arrived full of confidence, believing the trophy was within their grasp. But this was not the same AC Pacifico they had faced in the opening match.
Head coach Garrett Patterson had studied every detail from our first encounter. He analyzed their formation, identified their biggest threats, and developed a game plan that perfectly prepared the team for the rematch. Every player bought into the strategy, and when the whistle blew, we were ready.
The result was nothing short of spectacular.
Anderson Vakanda, Jenselh Valencia, and Winner Nzemba all found the back of the net as AC Pacifico delivered a commanding 6-0 victory. When the final whistle sounded, the emotions poured out. The same team that had suffered an opening-day defeat had completed one of the tournament's greatest turnarounds, lifting the Rainer Classic Cup in dominant fashion.
Champions are rarely defined by how they begin. They are defined by how they respond.
To Dragons FC, Granit FC, and Chuckanut Tide—thank you for pushing us, challenging us, and bringing out the very best in AC Pacifico. Every match made us stronger, and every battle helped shape a championship team.

Dreamers Cup Champions: Belief Becomes Reality
Just weeks after lifting the Rainer Classic Cup, AC Pacifico set its sights on another challenge—the Dreamers Cup in Kent, Washington. Four matches stood between us and another trophy, with a field featuring UPSL competition and talented African-based clubs eager to prove themselves. For our squad, it was another opportunity to test our growth against older, more experienced opposition.
From the opening whistle of the tournament, AC Pacifico showed the confidence and discipline that have become the foundation of this team. Our back line remained organized, limiting opportunities for our opponents, while our attack played with relentless energy and purpose.
The opening match ended in a convincing 3-1 victory, setting the tone for the tournament. Our confidence only grew in the second match as we produced a dominant 4-0 performance, controlling every phase of the game and showing the quality that has become synonymous with AC Pacifico football.
U19 Dreamers Cup

Throughout the tournament, Graciano Ndongala, Emanuel Mathon, Jordan Shama, and Elisandro Panganga delivered outstanding performances on both sides of the ball. Their leadership, work ethic, and determination helped drive the team through every challenge.
For his exceptional performances throughout the competition, Emanuel Mathon was deservedly named the tournament's Most Valuable Player. His consistency, composure, and impact in crucial moments embodied everything AC Pacifico stood for during the Dreamers Cup.
This championship was about more than lifting another trophy. It was another step forward in the club's journey. Competing against older, experienced teams and emerging victorious reinforced what this group has worked tirelessly to build: confidence, belief, and a winning mentality. Every match proved that discipline, teamwork, and trust in one another can overcome any obstacle.
The Dreamers Cup is another chapter in AC Pacifico's story—a story built on resilience, hard work, and the unwavering belief that no challenge is too great. With two tournament titles now added to the club's growing legacy, the future has never looked brighter.
The Dreamers Cup wasn't simply won—it was earned.
The semifinal presented a sterner challenge. Locked in a physical battle, neither side was willing to give an inch. Every tackle mattered, every pass had purpose, and every defensive stand kept the match within reach. As the clock wound down, AC Pacifico found another gear. A dramatic late winner secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory, sending us to yet another championship match.
The final demanded everything we had.
Facing another determined and physical opponent, AC Pacifico refused to be intimidated. The match became a battle of resilience, discipline, and belief. Every player answered the call, matching the intensity while remaining true to our style of play. With the score hanging in the balance, the decisive moment arrived late once again. A clutch goal sealed an unforgettable 3-2 victory, and as the final whistle echoed across the pitch, the Dreamers Cup belonged to AC Pacifico.
