AC Pacifico Tryouts – Frequently Asked Questions
1. Can my 9- or 10-year-old try out?
Yes! While tryouts are officially for ages under 11–18, 9- and 10-year-olds may try out if they are ready to train and compete with 11-year-olds. This includes being able to handle the pace of play, demonstrate a strong understanding of the game, and show emotional maturity. Coaches will assess readiness during tryouts.
2. Is there a cost to join the team if my child is selected?
Yes, there is a club fee of $2,000 for the season. However, AC Pacifico is committed to making soccer accessible to all families. Scholarships and financial aid are available for families who need assistance. We encourage families to reach out early if cost is a concern.
